Accht Ale #1

An excellent beer courtesy of a neighbour. August 2019.

Ingredients

  • 1kg light? malt extract (ie. liquid)
  • 2kg malt (dry)
  • 60g Cascade (or Saaz) Hops
  • Ale Yeast: 0#4 Safale Yeast
  • (Bulk Prime): 105g dextrose

Method

  • 10L boil to dissolve malts
  • Add hops and boil for 20min(?)
  • Add to fermenter with cool water
  • Put in fridge, dry pitch yeast at 20°C
  • Ferment 10 days.
  • Bulk prime and crown seal

Results

Great! Good body and depth. But perhaps missing the dry hopping.
